Welcome to the Democratic Party web site for Clarendon County, South Carolina. This site reflects our efforts to build support for the party as we move into the future. The Democratic Party candidates, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won the 2020 National Election after a historic voter turnout. However, it's never too early to begin preparing for the next national election in 2024 when we hope to take back control of the SC State Legislature and the US Congress.

• • The Clarendon County Democratic Party is the local county affiliate of the SC Democratic Party. Within the county, there are 26 precincts.

  • The U.S. Democratic Party is one of the two major contemporary political parties in the country. It was founded back in 1828, making it the oldest political party in the U.S.

For more than 200 years, the Democratic Party has led the fight for civil rights, health care, Social Security, workers' rights, and women's rights across the United States and right here in South Carolina.
